Most admissions counselors can define the various types of financial aid offerings but that isn't enough.  In order to really help families understand their options counselors must be able to assemble these offerings to form a complete picture and demonstrate how they work.  This training module starts with a quick assessment of the counselor's understanding of the features and benefits of the various components of financial aid.  The majority of the training then focuses on a step by step process that best presents your financial aid packages relative to your institutions own unique offerings and price.  The training includes several opportunities for each counselor to present aid packages so they are comfortable with the terminology, relationships and techniques.
