Planning and carrying out the college search, application and decision process can be a time consuming endeavor that can create quite a bit of anxiety.  If you are looking for a way to decrease the stress involved in this process and want assistance to create and carry out a plan, I can help. 

Consultation before the end of your student’s sophomore year doesn’t usually involve a lot of time and it won’t cost you anything for us to have an initial conversation and discuss some of the issues relevant to underclassmen (e.g. high school course selection and summer enrichment programs).

As your student approaches their junior year (though some students start later) the work involved in the college search process becomes more demanding.  An ongoing relationship with MAC Consulting will help:

• identify a list of target colleges
• alert you about time sensitive college visit dates and events as soon as possible to help coordinate with your family schedule
• identify and schedule important scholarship and application deadlines
• facilitate and document impressions and analysis of completed college visits to help bring confidence and clarity to the final enrollment decision
• provide continued support, consultation and insight during the orientation, registration and matriculation process
